About Mend

Mend Services Pty Ltd is an independent, proprietary limited, not-for-dividend organisation set up in 1989 that operates under a trust deed as a joint venture between the Master Builders Association of NSW and the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union. The Board of Directors comprises two representatives from the Master Builders Association of NSW, two representatives from the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union and an independent chair.

Mend is an accredited rehabilitation service provider to Comcare and the WorkCover Authority of NSW and specialises in the provision of a wide range of Occupational Health and Safety and Injury Management services, particularly to the Building, Construction and associated supply and service industries.

Through being jointly owned and operated by the leading Building and Construction Industry employer organisation in NSW, who are the oldest employer organisation in Australia and one of Australia's largest Federal Industrial Unions, we have a unique and very effective blend of key stakeholder involvement at an ownership level. This gives Mend a balanced, objective focus in the delivery of our services that is both highly successful and a cost effective approach to workplace Occupational Health and Safety and Injury Management for all parties.

Mend Services Pty Ltd employs a highly dedicated, extremely qualified and experienced multi disciplinary team of allied health professionals and administrative staff in two Sydney locations, at Glebe and Lidcombe with regional offices in Newcastle and Wollongong.
