Employees have the right to expect the workplace to be in a safe condition with safe entrances and exits

Employees have the right to expect that appropriate arrangements are made for the safe use, handling, storage and transport of plant, equipment and substances

Employees have the right to expect that the systems of work, and working environments, are safe and without risks to health

Employees are entitled to be provided with the information, instruction, training and supervision necessary to ensure their health and safety at work

Employees are entitled to be provided with adequate amenities (Eg. Toilet and washing facilities at work)

Employees have the right not to be charged for anything done or provided for Occupational Health and Safety at work

Employees have the responsibility to co-operate with the employer in their efforts to comply with Occupational Health Safety

Employees have the obligation to take reasonable care of the health and safety of themselves and others at work

Employees have the obligation not to interfere with safety equipment or misuse things provided for the health, safety or welfare of persons at work

Employees have the obligation not to obstruct attempts to give aid or prevent a serious risk to the health and safety of any other person at work

Employees have the obligation not to refuse any reasonable request to assist in giving aid or preventing a risk to health and safety

Employees have the obligation not to disrupt a workplace by unnecessarily creating unfounded fears about Occupational Health and Safety issues at work
