Mend Membership

Mend provides membership for all employers to assist with managing workers compensation, injury management and return to work systems effectively. Based on WorkCover's criteria, there are 2 groups of membership:

Category 1 Membership	Category 2 Membership
These are category 1 employers who pay a premium of more than $50,000 pa for workers compensation insurance. Injury Management Package for all new sites to ensure compliance with legislation. Locum / Leave relief service for your Return to Work Co-Ordinator at discounted rates. $600 (excl GST)	These are Category 2 employers who pay a premium of $50,000 pa or less for workers compensation insurance. Mend acts as the industry Return to Work Co-Ordinator to manage workers compensation claims and Return to Work in the event of a workplace injury . $60 (excl GST) per person to a maximum fee of $600

These are category 1 employers who pay a premium of more than $50,000 pa for workers compensation insurance.

These are Category 2 employers who pay a premium of $50,000 pa or less for workers compensation insurance.

Mend acts as the industry Return to Work Co-Ordinator to manage workers compensation claims and Return to Work in the event of a workplace injury .

$60 (excl GST) per person to a maximum fee of $600

All Mend Members receive the following services:

Return to Work Program that ensures compliance with the Workplace Injury Management & Compensation Act (1998). Any amendments to the Act that affect the policy will be forwarded to the member for addition to their policy
A regular newsletter outlining any changes in the workers compensation legislation
Quarterly claims reviews, if assistance is required in reviewing claims to minimise workers compensation claims costs
Industry specific training at discounted rates
A consultancy service to contact for information regarding Occupational Health and Safety in the workplace, workers compensation, Injury Management and Rehabilitation
Ongoing upgrading of your Injury Management system in line with any legislative changes
Membership rewards program (Eg. posters, free tool box talks)
