Mend Services is proud of their team of dedicated and caring health professionals. Many of our staff have been with us since our inception, a testament to our strong inclusive organisational culture. Our staff retention rate is much higher than the industry average because we take care of our staff in the same way that we care for our clients.

We are dedicated to achieving outcomes for all parties involved. 

Our staff includes Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Nurses, Rehabilitation Counsellors, Claims and Injury Managers who are all supported by a professional team of Administrators.

Fiona Curdie

Managing Director

Fiona's strategic management skills coupled with her passion for work health and safety has enabled her to position Mend Services as one of the leading providers of health and injury management services to many of Australia's Tier I and 2 Construction companies .

As Mend has grown, we have used our expertise in managing complex injuries  to serve many new industries.

Fiona graduated from Sydney University with a Bachelor Applied Science (Occupational Therapy). She is also Certificate IV Workplace Assessor and Trainer, Accredited OH&S Auditor and Trainer.

Fiona completed her MBA majoring in Human Resources in 2018 at the Australian Institute of Business.

Fiona  is a recognised  leader particularly within the provision of injury management services.   She is an accomplished public speaker and is often called on to speak on the subject of injury management services  in the workplace.


Fiona has positioned Mend as a leading provider of health services in injury management.   She is also an expert in the provision of medico-legal assessments as a result of her extensive experience in the treatment of spinal and neurological injuries and assisting more difficult injuries back to work or ADL.  She is an Accredited WorkSafe NSW RTW Coordinator Trainer and Accredited Comcare provider.

Tricia Garnett

Tricia Garnett joined Mend Services in 2014.  Tricia’s role requires significant knowledge of  the Workers Compensation Act across multiple jurisdictions in Australia.  Tricia works closely with all key stakeholders in various locations, insurance agents and numerous workers compensation authorities.

Tricia has extensive knowledge of workers’ compensation and has worked in senior management positions within the industry for over 20 years.  This includes areas of employment relations where she gained a strong understanding of industrial law and other related legislation in multiple jurisdictions.

In addition to Tricia’s experience in Workers Compensation, she is a nationally accredited LEADR mediator and has been providing workplace mediation and conflict resolution services for more than two decades.    

Tricia has provided mediation services to emergency services, state and commonwealth government agencies, the banking sector as well as numerous NGOs.   Tricia has a strong commitment to local communities and has been a board member of numerous not-for-profit organisations for over 15 years.

Tricia completed her Mental Health First Aid Training with Mental Health First Aid Australia and is an Accredited Mental Health First Aid training instructor.​

Joanna Tedesco

Joanna has over 20 years’ experience working in Workplace Risk Management, WorkCover Claims and Injury Management and Human Resources Nationally across many industries including but not limited to Security, Logistics, HealthCare, Building and Construction, Public Transport, Retail and Manufacturing industries. 

​Joanna has experience working in both the Public and Private sector including roles within large organisations such as St Vincent’s Health Australia, Coles Myer and Willis Group. 

Joanna is an expert in the field of workplace risk, particularly injury management and workers compensation disciplines.

​Joanna works collaboratively with clients and achieves results driven by client’s needs.
