Worksafe have recently become aware there are organisations offering white card through on-line delivery and who are providing a what appears to be a white card.
To be eligible to be issued with a White Card candidates must complete general OHS induction training provided by an approved construction RTO.
White Cards are issued by WorkSafe Victoria and include the card holders name, date of birth, registration number and issue date on the front of the card. The reverse of the card should be signed by the card holder and includes the following statement: “The cardholder is registered under the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Regulations 2017 to perform construction work, having completed general OHS induction training for the construction industry”.
