Employers should monitor the situation as it develops. NSW Health have provided a heat map of confirmed cases by region that may assist.
Current advice indicates international travel should be avoided, social distancing strategies should be implemented including ceasing non-essential gatherings and avoiding close personal contact. Cleaning and personal hygiene practices should be increased and promoted to reduce the spread of the virus.
Workers in high risk industries including those in the health care and social services and transport sectors will require specific controls as guided by NSW Health and Commonwealth Department of Health.
