The world’s first international standard for occupational health and safety is currently being developed. It will help your organisation provide a safe and healthy workplace for your workers and other people. It will also assist to prevent deaths, work-related injury and ill-health as well as continually improve OH&S performance.
ISO 45001 includes the development and implementation of an OH&S policy and objectives which takes into account legal requirements and other requirements that an organisation subscribes. The international standard will help provide a single, clear framework for all organisations irrespective of their size, who wish to improve their OH&S performance and protect those working on their behalf or who may be affected by the organisation’s activities. This includes any PCBU’s, and those working with many contractors over numerous sites, volunteers and or temporary staff.
This one off International event will provide you with a valuable insight as to what is set out in the new standard. You will have the opportunity to ask questions of the senior members of the international committee who are responsible for the development of the international standard.
