NSW Legislative Council Releases Report on the Regulation of Building Standards and Quality

19/11/2019

The Public Accountability Committee of the upper house of the NSW Parliament, the NSW Legislative Council, last week released the report, Regulation of building standards, building quality and building disputes – First Report.  This can be viewed here. While this report is 196 pages long, it is at least well worth reading the 19 recommendations.  It will be very interesting to see how many of these recommendations the NSW Government adopts.
The November 2019 ACIF Forecasts were recently released, and these can be purchased here. A great deal of work and effort goes into these forecasts, and they are produced for the benefit of the industry.  They are also considered the best forecasts in the industry, as they cover 20 construction work types, forecast forward 10 years, and the Customised Forecasts Dashboard has data going back 20 years.  Good knowledge and planning are critical for business success, and these forecasts can help give your business the edge.
