Remembering lives lost in the workplace: International Day of Mourning

International Day of Mourning is an important day for those who have lost loved ones to work-related incidents or illness. On 28 April each year, we remember and commemorate their lives and share their memories..

SafeWork NSW and Unions NSW invite you to join the families and their friends at the International Day of Mourning service occurring on Thursday, 28 April 2022 at:

• 12:00 noon: Reflection Park in Darling Harbour, Little Pier Street.

To make the event as accessible as possible, Unions NSW will also be streaming the service live on the Unions NSW Facebook page at facebook.com/unions.nsw on the day.  

28 April is not only a day to remember and honour those lives lost or injured, it’s also a day to reaffirm our commitment to protecting workers and improving workplace safety practices.
