Sleep Awareness Week 2017

4/7/2017

Better sleep = smarter, safer workplaces

The Sleep Health Foundation is partnering with the CRC for Alertness, Safety & Productivity with a key focus of Alertness CRC research on improved shift scheduling and lighting to promote alertness.

In a world where the pace is forever quickening, the quantity and quality of our sleep is vital to our general health and wellbeing and our ability to stay alert, safe, and productive at work.
The Alertness CRC has launched a new website, WorkAlert for Sleep Awareness Week sharing its science-driven tips and knowledge to help conquer the challenges of staying alert in a busy world and providing advice on how you – as an employer or employee – can keep yourself and your workplace safe.
Help us to spread the word by:
  • Downloading the promotional poster and display it in your workplace.
  • Like us on Facebook and Twitter and share our social media campaign during Sleep Awareness Week 2017
  • Check out the Alertness CRC social media campaign – promoting its new “Work Alert” website during Sleep Awareness Week.
  • Use our suggested hashtags for your social media posts during Sleep Awareness Week: #bettersleep #saferworkplace #sleepwellworksmarter #sleepawarenessweek #workalert
