With more Australians returning to work as we reach milestone vaccination rates, the onus is on employers to prioritise workplace safety when it comes to the risk of the pandemic. Integrating technology and automation into your safety management procedures can not only streamline essential compliance requirements, but also helps your employees feel more confident and supported as they return to work.
National Mental Health Month
National Mental Health Month is an initiative of the Mental Health Foundation Australia (MHFA) to advocate for and raise awareness of Australian mental health. It is an important time where the Australian community comes together to raise awareness and promote better mental health for all. Throughout this month, many events have been organised in each state of Australia aiming to attract and unite Australians of all ages and backgrounds to raise awareness and promote better mental health for all. October is National Safe Work Month—a time to commit to building a safe and healthy workplace. During October each year, we ask workers and employers across Australia to commit to safe and healthy workplaces for all Australians..

Rapid antigen tests are quick and easy and allow NSW Health to help find COVID-19 in people who do not have symptoms.
About this event
A free online workshop to help new and young workers have an understanding of the highest risk hazards you will encounter when working on construction, demolition or excavation sites. Employers have a duty under the model Work Health and Safety (WHS) laws to eliminate, or if that is not reasonably practicable, minimise the risk of exposure to COVID-19 in the workplace.
This page provides information about your obligations under the model WHS laws and how these relate to COVID-19 vaccines. This information will assist you to assess whether a COVID 19 vaccine is a reasonably practicable control measure to manage the risks of COVID-19 in your workplace. However, while this is a decision you will need to make taking into account your workplace, most employers will not need to make vaccination mandatory to comply with the model WHS laws. As part of a 2018 Victorian Government election commitment, WorkSafe is introducing infringement notice fines for a range of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) offences.
